Why start here
Before you sign anything, know where you stand.
Most IT vendor relationships start with a sales conversation that turns into a contract. Six months later, both sides realize the scope was wrong, the budget was off, and key gaps were never spotted.
The IT Assessment exists to fix that. A structured, honest look at your setup, with written findings you can use to make informed decisions — including the decision not to work with us.
What you get
Six deliverables. All yours to keep.
A risk-weighted compliance readiness score
A single, defensible score showing how ready you are against the framework you answer to — weighted by the risks that actually matter, not a flat checklist.
A gap report, ranked by severity
Every gap we find, ordered by severity, so you know exactly what to fix first and why it matters.
An evidence-based estimate of financial exposure
A grounded estimate of what an incident or compliance failure could realistically cost you — built from evidence in your environment, not scare tactics.
A phased 0–30 / 30–90 / 90+ day remediation roadmap
A practical plan with the highest-impact fixes first. You can hand it to any provider, including us.
A live walkthrough call
We walk your leadership team through every finding, answer questions, and make sure the report is understood — not just delivered.
All findings documented and yours to keep
Everything is written down and organized. The documentation is yours regardless of whether you continue with us.

What the assessment shows you.
Illustrative views from a typical engagement — your readiness scored, your coverage broken down by domain, the before-and-after of remediation, and exposure falling over the first 90 days.

Your overall readiness against the framework you answer to.
Illustrative.
Typical client outcome
Compliance readiness — at assessment vs. after remediation.
Illustrative. Based on typical readiness improvement across remediation engagements.
Coverage by domain
Where you're strong and where the gaps are.
Illustrative.
Risk over time
Exposure falls as remediation lands.
Illustrative.
The process
About two weeks. Four steps. Zero disruption.
Kickoff & scoping
A short kickoff to confirm the framework you answer to, scope the engagement, and set up look-only access. We learn the business before we touch the technology.
Guided assessment
A guided review of your sign-ins, devices, cloud, network, backups, and security controls — how they're configured, not just what you own.
Scored gap report
We score your readiness against the framework, rank every gap by severity, and estimate the financial exposure behind them.
Roadmap & walkthrough
A phased 0–30 / 30–90 / 90+ day remediation roadmap, delivered in a live walkthrough with your leadership team. The documents are yours to keep.
Common questions
Frequently asked.
Are we obligated to work with you after the assessment?
No. The assessment is a paid, standalone engagement — the findings are yours regardless of whether you continue with us. You decide what to do next, whether that's working with us, working with another provider, or handling it internally. If you do move forward with managed services, we credit the assessment fee toward your first month.
How much of our staff's time will this take?
Usually 4–6 hours total from your team across the roughly two-week engagement — a kickoff conversation with leadership up front, a few targeted technical conversations during the review, and the live walkthrough at the end. The rest is on us.
Do you share findings with our current IT vendor?
Only if you ask us to. The assessment is your property. Some businesses use it to switch providers. Others share it with their current provider to push for improvements. Your call entirely.
What if we don't have any IT staff or vendor?
That's actually a common starting point. We can work entirely with leadership and any third parties (your Microsoft 365 admin, network provider, etc.). Many businesses have inherited IT setups where nobody can answer basic questions — the assessment is often the first time anyone has documented the whole picture.
